How to disable FLoC in Google Chrome

Google’s Federated Learning of Cohorts (FLoC) has received a lot of attention since the company announced the standard earlier this year. 3. After restarting your browser, open the Chrome settings page and go to the Privacy & Security tab from the left sidebar. In the Privacy and Security section, you’ll see a new option called Privacy Sandbox . You can access Privacy Sandbox directly at the following address:

4. The Privacy Sandbox page displays two toggle buttons. Disable both the “Privacy Sandbox Trial” and “FLoC” toggles and you’re good to go. In particular, disabling just the Privacy Sandbox Trial toggle automatically turns off FLoC.

That’s it. You have now opted out of Google’s FLoC tracking system and will no longer be registered with any advertiser groups.
