PlayStation 5 showcase event announced to be held on September 16th

Last week, we got a ton of information about the Xbox Series Surprisingly, Sony didn’t release any information about its console last week. Still, if you want to get some information about the PS5, the Japanese giant has announced that it will be holding a showcase event on September 16th.

Sony says it will share information about titles from Sony studios and partner developers around the world. “Our next Digital Showcase will be approximately 40 minutes long and feature the latest title updates from Worldwide Studios and our world-class development partners,” Sony said in a blog post announcing the event.

However, we wouldn’t be surprised if the company announced some important information about the PlayStation 5. This will hopefully include the console’s price and release date, as well as perhaps a suitable pre-order schedule.

Of course, that’s wishful thinking at this point. However, we have seen past events where Sony introduced PS5 games. Next, the design of PlayStation 5 was also revealed. Plus, 40 minutes seems a little too much just to give you the latest information on titles coming to PS5. We hope Sony includes a surprise price announcement at the end of the stream.
