A few months ago, Google announced the Doodle 4 Google contest for Indian students. This contest invites creative and art-loving students from all over the country to express their skills in the form of a doodle. Google has now selected the top 20 contest entries from five different groups and is featuring the shortlisted doodles on the official Google Doodle India website.
The winner of the 2018 edition of the Doodle 4 Google contest will have their entry featured as a Google Doodle on Children’s Day, November 14th, and will also receive a cash prize of Rs 1 million. 500,000 in college scholarships, a trip to Google India office, and more. Voting is currently open and will close on November 6th at 10am IST.

The winning entries will be judged by a panel of four judges: Google’s Doodle team leader Ryan Germick, YouTubers Sejal Kumar and Rob, and Arun Iyer. This year’s Doodle 4 Google contest theme was “What Inspires You,” and we called for creatively designed doodles using crayons, clay, watercolor, and graphic design.
Entries for the competition will be divided into five groups consisting of students from classes 1-2, classes 3-4, classes 5-6, classes 7-8, and classes 9-10. Google has revealed that more than 55% of the entries for the competition came from students from cities outside the metropolitan cities like Bhopal, Jabalpur and Bareilly. This proves once again that creativity truly has no limits.
