How to disable Xbox Game Bar on Windows 10

1. Press the Windows key once and type settings . Then open “Settings” from the search results.

2. Next, open Game and go to the Capture tab . Here, disable the toggle “Record in the background while playing games”. This will turn off video recording that is always running in the background, which will speed up your PC significantly.

3. Then switch to the “Xbox Game Bar” tab and turn off the toggle “Enable Xbox Game Bar for game recording and more…”. This will free up more resources and improve your PC’s performance. If you want Xbox Game Bar, just turn on the toggle.

4. If you want to completely remove Xbox Game from Windows 10, right-click the Start menu and select Windows PowerShell (Administrator). Please note that you need an administrator account to perform this operation.

5. Now copy and paste the following command and press Enter. From now on, PowerShell will start removing the Xbox Game Bar from scratch.
