Google Camera app mod brings night views to these Nokia phones

Pixel 3’s Night Sight feature is customized for low-light photography, but it’s not officially available yet. But thanks to a Google Camera app MOD that has the Night Sight feature enabled, we’ve already seen that this feature can yield some amazing results. Thanks to this MOD, the night view feature also seems to work on Nokia 6.1, 6.1 Plus, 7 Plus, and Nokia 8 .

I’ve already tested the Google Camera app mod on my Nokia 7 Plus and found the night mode working. I also installed the APK of the Google Camera app MOD on my Nokia 6.1 Plus at my office and found that the night view feature worked fine on this device as well.

If you want to try out the Night Sight feature on any of the four Nokia smartphones mentioned above, follow these steps.

1. Download the Google Camera app that supports night view mode from this page . If the first download link doesn’t work, try one of the mirror links.
2. Alternatively, you can directly download the APK from this Drive file.

However, the Google Camera MOD’s Night Sight mode appears to only work on devices running stable or beta builds of Android 9 Pie. I tried to run the app on my Nokia X6 unit running Android 8.1 Oreo, but it repeatedly failed as the app was unable to start despite repeated attempts.
