OnePlus 7T Pro is expected to be officially announced later this year. And while OnePlus ponders the changes it will debut with its next premium flagship, a new OnePlus smartphone with a significantly revised design has arrived online.
Thanks to famous leaker Evan Blass, we now know the design of the new OnePlus smartphone. This has never been released or made public. Blass has currently shared three renderings. They all have circular camera bumps , but each has a different camera fill type. There’s no information on what the fill means, but the render confirms an old leak that showed off this design a few months ago.
If you think the leaked renders containing the circular camera cutout look familiar, you’re not alone. Popular tipster Ishan Agarwal tweeted this redesign early last year, even before the OnePlus 7 Pro was launched. The posted photo appears to be from a private meeting, and you can see the new design shown off at the presentation. However, you can also see a prototype with this circular camera in the hands of CEO Pete Lau.
Exclusive! Here’s my first look at an upcoming OnePlus device that I don’t know much about. This image shows the device in the prototype/design stage and is not final, but perhaps this could be the final look of the device. At the time, we expected this to be the long-awaited OnePlus 7 Pro, but that wasn’t the case. OnePlus 7 Pro was launched with a vertical camera strip and a pop-up selfie camera module. However, if the circular camera design surfaces again, that too from Blass, we can expect the OnePlus 7T to introduce a new camera design.
However, there is no information regarding the sensor that will be baked into the circular camera cutout. Previous leaks showed a horizontal line across the center of this camera’s bump that houses the flash, but it appears to be missing from the renders posted online today.
OnePlus 7T is rumored to be launched in India on September 26th along with the rumored OnePlus TV. Many details of the OnePlus TV have also started to emerge online, with the company itself confirming a number of features and specifications ahead of the official launch.
