Infinix Note 12 VIP with 120W fast charging capability launched globally

Infinix has expanded its Note 12 series by globally launching Infinix Note 12 VIP. Infinix Note 12 VIP comes with features like 120W fast charging support, 108MP rear camera, 120Hz display, and more. The company also announced a slightly toned-down Note 12 (G96). Let’s take a look at the details here.

Infinix Note 12 VIP: Specifications and features

The Infinix Note 12 VIP has a very sleek aesthetic and comes with a flat-edge design that is becoming more common these days. It also features a rectangular rear camera hump with one giant camera housing and two smaller camera housings. It is painted in Cayenne Gray and Force Black colors .

On the front, it features a 6.7-inch full HD+ ultra-light AMOLED display with a punch-hole in the center. It supports 120Hz refresh rate, low blue light technology, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 93.1% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Expandable RAM (up to 5 GB additional) and expandable storage (up to 2 TB) are supported.

The Note 12 VIP features a 108MP Cinemagic main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor . It also has a 16MP front camera. Supports laser detection autofocus, night mode, portrait mode, etc. The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. This allows you to fully charge your phone in 17 minutes. It runs Android 12 and XOS 10.6.

Infinix Note 12 (G96): Specifications and features

The Infinix Note 12 (G96) looks a lot like the Realme GT 2 and comes in Force Black, Snowfall, and Sapphire Blue color variants. It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, but with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It is also powered by Helio G96 SoC but comes in two RAM+storage options: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Both these variants support expandable RAM and storage.

The Note 12 (G96) has a 50MP main camera, a 2MP secondary camera on the back, and a 16MP selfie shooter. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and runs XOS 10.6 based on Android 12.

Additionally, it is equipped with a 10-layer graphene cooling system, linear motor haptic system, dual speakers with DTS, XArena-Darlink 2.0, and more.

Price and availability

Infinix Note 12 VIP is priced at $300 (approximately Rs. 23,200) and Infinix Note 12 (G96) is priced at $200 (approximately Rs. 15,500) and is available in select global markets. There is no word on availability in India at this time.
