Apple finally held its ” Scary Fast ” event and announced its new M3 chip along with the new MacBook Pro. M3 MacBook Pro: Specifications and features
The new MacBook Pro lineup features the latest M3 chip, which is based on the industry’s first 3nm process and offers 30% more performance cores and 50% more efficiency cores compared to the M1 chip. The M3 chip family supports up to 16 CPU cores and 40 GPU cores (which is pretty big!). Additionally, we’ve added interesting features like hardware-based ray tracing and new dynamic coaching that allows memory to be used in real-time with the hardware. Support for up to 128 GB of RAM, up to 60% faster Neural Engine performance, and more.
New MacBook Pro models feature a Liquid XDR display with 1,600 nits of peak brightness , 20% brighter SDR content, up to 120Hz refresh rate, ProMotion technology with 1 billion colors, and Dolby Atmos. The new MacBook Pro comes in three variants. 14-inch model with M3 chip, 14-inch and 16-inch models with M3 Pro chip, and 14-inch and 16-inch models with M3 Mac chip.
The M3 MacBook Pro supports up to 24GB of unified memory and up to 1TB of SSD (configurable up to 8TB), while the M3 Pro MacBook Pro supports up to 36GB of unified RAM and 8TB of storage. M3 Max MacBook Pro has the same screen size and can support a large amount of RAM of 128GB . The new MacBook Pro lineup can deliver up to 22 hours of battery life with a 100Wh battery, which is said to be the “longest battery life in Mac history.” “
It comes with a 140W USB-C power adapter. They all run macOS Sonoma with features like widget support, enhanced video calling capabilities, and an enhanced gaming mode. There’s a 1080p FaceTime camera with an advanced image signal processor, and it supports a Hi-Fi 6-speaker system with spatial audio and Dolby Atmos.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. I/O ports include three Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) , a MagSafe 3 port, an SDXC card slot, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the new M3 MacBook Pro comes with Touch ID, a backlit keyboard, and more. 
Price and availability
The new M3 MacBook Pro is priced starting at $1,599 (approximately Rs. 1,33,000) and will be available from November 7. You can pre-order it now via Apple.com. In addition to the silver color, the M3 Pro and M3 Mac MacBook Pro also comes in the new Space Black. The M3 MacBook Pro is available in Space Gray and Silver only. They are also a sustainable product and are made from 100% recycled aluminum.
