Intel 14th Gen Meteor Lake CPUs announced at AI Everywhere event

Intel 14th generation processors based on Meteor Lake architecture were previously announced at the event Innovation 2023 held a few months ago. After a long wait, the company is all set to unveil these processors at its recently announced upcoming event. The event, called “AI Everywhere,” will feature a number of announcements, including two new product series.

Intel AI Everything Event Announcement: Details

Intel’s AI Everywhere event will take place on December 14, 2023 (10am ET) . According to the company’s official post , the company confirmed here that it will launch the first Intel Core Ultra (Meteor Lake) processors and the new 5th generation Xeon (Emralds Rapids) processors. The Intel Core Ultra lineup is Intel’s next flagship processor in its 14th generation CPU lineup for laptops, and it’s shaping up to be particularly exciting. Here are the different variants of Core Ultra mobile CPUs that Intel is expected to launch:

• core ultra 9

The other basic variant, the “Core” processor, was not mentioned in the details of this event. However, these too should start in 2024 and the industry should gradually migrate to Intel’s latest architecture. These Core Ultra variants are focused on performance, and upcoming laptops with these processors will definitely be powerful and expensive.

As the name of the event suggests, the primary focus should be on artificial intelligence . There, we’ll see new chips run through AI workloads. The Meteor Lake architecture introduces NPU chips and completely changes the game when it comes to AI capabilities on consumer chips.

You can now run AI models on the device itself (without internet) thanks to the built-in NPU chip, which provides high performance for AI computational workloads while consuming very little power. In addition to this, there is also faster integrated Arc graphics that also supports ray tracing .
