ROG Phone 5: Specifications (rumor)

Secondly, the ROG Phone 5 is already on the certified list online. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen two different versions of the gaming phone visit TENAA. One has a small secondary panel on the back (probably the global version), and the other has a dot-matrix display (probably the Tencent Games version).

ASUS may be looking to offer slightly different designs for the domestic and global markets, but the specs will likely remain almost the same. On the front, there is a 6.78-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz . Like its predecessor, it also has small bezels and front-facing speakers.

ASUS doesn’t like to touch on the core design of its gaming smartphones. Just refresh the interior, camera, and screen to keep up with the times. The back panel undergoes small changes with each iteration. Under the hood, the latest Snapdragon 888 5G chipset powers the ROG Phone 5. It is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Additionally, the device will also feature a 64MP triple camera on the back. The high capacity 6,000mAh battery (dual cell design) is also one of the highlights. However, Asus plans to offer 65W fast charging via the USB Type-C port for gamers’ delight. Are you excited for the first gaming phone launch of 2021?
