ASUS ROG Phone 5 confirmed to be released on March 10th

ASUS has finally announced the release date of its next-generation gaming smartphone. Asus ROG Phone 5 is the successor to last year’s ROG Phone 3. The company ranks fourth among Snapdragon 888-powered gaming smartphones. According to recent leaks, it is also rumored to feature a new dot-matrix display on the back panel.

ROG Phone 5: Release date

ASUS has created a landing page for the ROG Phone 5 launch event. The website does not list an exact date, but there is a timer counting down to March 10th. This means the company’s next flagship product will arrive on March 10 at 7pm Taipei time (4:30pm IST).

A gaming phone that was announced simultaneously around the world last year. The website mentions Berlin, New York, and Taipei, but not India. Does that mean Asus ROG Phone 5 will be launched in India at a later date? Or were sales not satisfactory enough to cancel its launch in India? ASUS doesn’t like to touch on the core design of its gaming smartphones. Just refresh the interior, camera, and screen to keep up with the times. The back panel undergoes small changes with each iteration. Under the hood, the latest Snapdragon 888 5G chipset powers the ROG Phone 5. It is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Additionally, the device will also feature a 64MP triple camera on the back. The high capacity 6,000mAh battery (dual cell design) is also one of the highlights.
