Expanding its Fire TV lineup in India, Amazon today launched the Fire TV Cube in the country. The device has a powerful processor and comes with Alexa support. And with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, you can deliver 4K Ultra HD content at up to 60 frames per second. 
Amazon Fire TV Cube launches in India
Well, for the uninitiated, Amazon launched the 2nd generation Fire TV Cube at IFA 2019 along with the Fire TV Edition soundbar. However, it is only now that the company has decided to bring the Fire TV Cube to India. Fire TV Stick is already on sale in Japan.
Looking under the hood, the new Fire TV Cube is equipped with a hexa-core processor that delivers a smooth and fast experience while supporting Dolby Vision and 4K Ultra HD content at up to 60 FPS. Besides? The new Fire TV Cube comes with hands-free Alexa support, allowing users to play, pause, and browse content using voice commands.

Apart from this, users can also access various streaming services that can be controlled by voice, including Disney+ Hotstar, Netflix, Prime Video, and Zee5. Plus, enjoy accurate colors with support for Dolby Vision, HDR, and HDR 10+, as well as high-end audio with Dolby Atmos.
Adding Alexa-enabled voice support, Fire TV Cube features eight microphones with far-field voice recognition support and beamforming technology. Additionally, the device uses multi-directional infrared technology, cloud-based protocols, and HDMI CEC to better control TVs, set-top boxes, and other smart home devices such as smart light bulbs and smart plugs.

Amazon Fire TV Cube is priced at Rs 12,999 and is available for purchase from Amazon’s website and select Croma and Reliance Digital retailers in India. A free HDMI cable is also included as a first-time bonus.
