Genshin is full of flashy characters that players are patiently waiting to see on the official banner. That perseverance is driven by the character’s charisma, playstyle, or simply the idea that “this character would be a great addition to my cock.” One such character is Ayaka Kamisato, a woman of Inazuma’s Yashiro Committee and the Kamisato clan. Ayaka will reappear in Genshin 4.3.
Ayaka is a fan favorite, one of Genshin’s most powerful cryovision bearers and sword wielders, and fun to play. In our Genshin Impact character tier list, we placed her in the S tier. If you got her recently, or if you own her but haven’t used her in a long time, this guide will show you the best weapons, artifacts, and overall build for Ayaka Kamisato in Genshin.
Ayaka Kamisato builds with “Genshin”
The best build for Ayaka is the Blizzard Strayer Artifact set combined with her signature weapon, the Mist Splitter Reforged. A 2-piece Blizzard Strayer gives Ayaka a 15% cryo damage bonus , and a 4-piece gives Ayaka a 15% crit chance if the enemy is affected by cryo, and even more if the enemy is frozen. Gives 20% critical chance.
To get the most out of Ayaka, all you need to do is use Blizzard Strayer and focus on Circlet’s critical damage, Goblet’s cryo damage bonus, and Sands’ ATK%. Flower, Feather, Goblet, and Sand sub-stats also play an important role, especially with the plan to give critical rate and damage to the latter. Plus, here are all the artifacts you can try out with Ayaka.
- Blizzard Strayer 4 pieces (best artifact set for Ayaka)
- 2 Blizzard Strayers + 2 Noblesse Oblige
- 2 pieces Nobless Oblige + 2 pieces Gladiator’s Finale
| artifact | Main/sub status |
|---|---|
| flower | Flat HP / Critical damage≡Critical rate > ATK% > ER% |
| feather | ATK / Critical damage≡Critical rate > ATK% > ER% > EM |
| sans | ATK% / Critical damage≡Critical rate > ER% > EM |
| goblet | Cryo damage bonus / Critical damage ≡ Critical rate > ATK% > ER% |
| circlet | Critical damage ≡ Critical rate / ATK% > ER% |
Ultimately, if you want to know what good stats are for Ayaka, you should have a critical rate of around 30% and critical damage of at least 200% .

Ayaka: Talent and Passive
In Genshin, Ayaka’s fighting style is unique. Her special sprint is exclusive to her and applies cryo to enemies. Here are all of Ayaka Kamisato’s talents in Genshin:
Normal Attacks: Kamisato Jutsu – Kabuki : Performs a series of 5 consecutive attacks that deal physical damage, as well as charge and lunge attacks that deal physical damage.
Kamisato Art: Hyouka : Ayaka Kamisato performs an area cryo attack, summoning Blooming Ice to launch enemies.
Kamisato Art: Senho: Ayaka consumes stamina while sprinting and wraps herself in the frozen mist that moves with her. This allows her to sprint on water. When she appears near an enemy, she applies cryo to them.
Kamisato Jutsu: Soumetsu: Ayaka releases a blizzard that continuously deals large cryo damage to enemies, blooming towards the end and dealing more cryo damage.

Ayaka Kamisato passive
Passive 1 – Amatsumi Kunitsumi Sanctification: After using her elemental skill, Ayaka’s charged attacks and normal attacks deal 30% increased damage for 6 seconds.
Passive 2 – Blessing of the Kenten Declaration: When Ayaka’s sprint hits an enemy, she instantly recovers 10 stamina and increases her cryo damage by 18%.
Passive 3 – Syntha Fruit: When Ayaka creates weapon ascension materials, there is a 10% chance to receive double the product.
Ayaka Genshin’s second coming and talent materials
To level up Ayaka, you need Sakura Bloom, Perpetual Heart (obtained by defeating Perpetual Mechanical Array with Inazuma), Handguard, and Shivada Jade. The most difficult part is collecting talent level up materials, as Ayaka requires materials from one of the most difficult weekly bosses in Genshin, Azdaha, Handguard, and Philosophy of Elegance. In summary, everything you need to level up Ayaka’s level and talent level is here. material Number of materials required shivada jade silver 1 Shivada Jade Fragment 9 shivada jade lump 9 shivada jade gemstone 6 mora 2,092,530 hero’s wit 419 old hand guard 18 shadow hand guard 30 famous hand guard 36 sakura room 168 perpetual heart 46
All the materials you need to level up Ayaka Kamisato’s talent are here.
| material | Number of materials required |
|---|---|
| teachings of elegance | 9 |
| guide to elegance | 63 |
| philosophy of elegance | 114 |
| old hand guard | 18 |
| shadow hand guard | 66 |
| famous hand guard | 93 |
| mora | 4,957,500 |
| crown of insight | 3 |
| blood jade branch | 18 |
As for the priority order of talents, it is best to prioritize Elemental Burst > Normal Attack > Elemental Skill. This way you can make the most of her attacks and cryo damage buffs. Fighting Azhdaha can get boring, so be sure to enlist the help of others through co-op play.
Ayaka Kamisato: The best weapon
Ayaka relies heavily on critical stats, especially critical damage, so you should equip her with a critical damage weapon. Ayaka’s signature weapon is the Mist Splitter Reforged. The best weapons for Ayaka are:
- Mist Splitter Reforged (best weapon for Ayaka’s slot)
- Black Cliff Longsword (Best free-to-play weapon for Ayaka)
- primordial jade cutter
- Kageuchi Amenoma
- black sword
Ayaka Kamisato’s constellation
If you’re a free-to-play player, let me tell you that Ayaka in Genshin C0 is still very good, and you can even invest your hard-earned Primogems into getting other characters. However, if you like this character as a F2P or big spender, it’s worth getting her zodiac sign. The highest priorities are C2, C4, and C6. That said, C1 is also very good.
C1: Cherry Blossom Blizzard : Each time you deal cryo damage (regular or charged) to an enemy, there is an additional 50% chance that the cooldown of Ayaka’s elemental skills will be reduced by 0.3 seconds.
C2: Blizzard Blade No.: Expands Ayaka’s burst range and adds two small frost flake storms that deal damage to “Kamizato Jutsu: Soumetsu”. This may not sound like much of a priority, but it is important if you want to popularize your Cryo application.
C4: Tide: Kamisato Jutsu: Defense power decreases by 30% each time Soumetsu’s Frost Flakes hit an enemy.
C6: Suigetsu Dance: Ayaka gains Usurahi Dance every 10 seconds, increasing charge attack damage by 298%.
Again, you don’t need these as Ayaka is already a good damage dealer, but if you have the resources, you might want to go all out to build the best Ayaka among Genshin players I don’t know.
