Alamut Castle is a location in Assassin’s Creed Mirage that developers have been talking about passionately. History of Alamut Castle in Assassin’s Creed
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Castle Alamut is where the Hidden Ones operate . This is the creed that would eventually be named Hassassin. In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the castle is shown to be under construction and not yet completed. The game is set in 861 BC, so the castle is currently being built on a hill perch.
Castle Alamut is where the expansion of the Hidden One begins, becoming more public as the Templars transform into the Brotherhood of Assassins when they begin the Third Crusade. If you’ve played Assassin’s Creed Rogue and read some of the supplementary books based on the game, you might know about this place. Mirage is the first game to feature Alamut Castle.

This is largely consistent with the actual historical records of Alamut Castle. In real-world history, Alamut Castle was built by the Yustan rulers of Dayrum in approximately 840 AD. The castle was later captured by Hasan-i-Sabbah in 1088. Fans of the series may recognize Hassan-i-Sabbah’s name, as he is credited with forming the modern Brotherhood of Assassins in the game.
His son Hassan the Younger eventually became the leader of the Levantine Assassins and founded their sovereign nation of Masyaf in Assassin’s Creed. In AC Mirage, Alamut Castle is also home to one of the old Isu Temples, with Hidden Ones guarding it from the Elusive Order. 
Can I visit Alamut Castle in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
Alamut Castle has an important historical impact on the overall Assassin’s Creed lore, but AC Mirage’s treatment of the area was a bit disappointing. The area of Alamut Castle is limited . Once the prologue is over, you’ll experience the area for the first time. Since this is a base of operations for the Hidden Ones, Basim is naturally brought here to learn their teachings. Within this time frame, you can see several sections of Alamut.
This is the only time you can experience Alamut Castle. Otherwise, the entire game takes place in the walled city of Baghdad. Return to Alamut Castle in AC Mirage only during the climax of the game. Even in this encounter, you can only explore a limited portion of the area. Therefore, Alamut Castle is just a location that serves as a setting for the story to progress. The Brotherhood is important in this story because it arose from this unique place. Unfortunately, giving them a little more space to check out the area could have certainly been a welcome addition.
