Honkai: Star Rail is finally coming to PlayStation 5

After a long wait, one of the most anticipated gacha TRPG games, Honkai: Star Rail, has finally been released for PlayStation 5. For those who don’t know, Honkai is a series of games developed by HoYverse (formerly MiHoYo), a developer and publisher of several games. It also includes other popular games such as Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, and one of the newest games, Zenless Zone Zero.

Honkai: Star Rail arrives on PS 5 during one of the game’s biggest version releases, 1.4 named “Awakening from a Winter Dream” which brings new areas (Pillars of Creation and Old Weapons Proving Grounds) I will. Additionally, new characters have been added, Jingliu and Topaz & Numby, both of which are 5 stars. In terms of 4-star characters and light cones, we have Guinaifen of Fire Nihility and two 5-star cones – I Shall Be My Own Sword and Worrisome, Blisful.

This version also adds new events Aetherium Wars and Planar Infinity, as well as new stories and companion missions Trailblaze Continuance “Jarlo-VI -Future Market” and “Clouds Leave No Trace.”

In an official press release, the game developer states that the developer has benefited greatly from the PlayStation 5’s hardware, and the Honkai: Star Rail experience with the game should be exceptional. Star Rail runs at native 4K on PlayStation 5, and the hardware helps deliver high-quality rendering, volumetric fog, and water features.
