How to breed pandas in Minecraft

What you need to raise pandas

Breeding pandas is not that difficult as all you need is bamboo. You will need 2 bamboos to feed your panda and get it into “love mode”, but you may need more depending on your location. Just in case, collect two or more pieces of bamboo.

Bamboo is a block found in the Jungle and Bamboo Jungle biomes in Minecraft. Bamboo can be split with any tool, but the fastest one is a sword. You can also obtain bamboo in the following ways.

Where to find pandas in Minecraft

Pandas only spawn on grass blocks with a light level above 8 in jungle biomes and their variants. Most often you will find groups of one or two pandas. They are very rare, but a little more common in bamboo forests, where they may also spawn as young.

Bamboo forests have a lot of podzol (dirt-type blocks), so you can replace them with grass over time to maximize the chances of pandas spawning in the area. Additionally, pandas are assigned random personalities, but pandas with normal personalities are the most common.
