Like other first-person shooter games, The Finals allows you to carry additional weapons and gadgets as a backup. While games like Call of Duty allow you to curate multiple loadouts, The Finals does things differently, which may be confusing for some players to understand. But don’t worry, we’ve explained how the reserve loadout system works and how to set it up. Additionally, we will teach you how to use the reserve loadout during the final match.

What is the reserve equipment for the final?

As with most FPS games, The Finals’ reserve loadout is exactly what it says. This is a set of additional weapons and equipment that allows you to switch your current loadout during a match. It works similarly to the loadout system in other online shooters, but the development team at Embark has added a twist to the concept.

In the final, you prepare a backup loadout before the match, but you can only choose between two different weapons or equipment. One of these weapon and equipment sets will be your active loadout during a match. Therefore, a set of other weapons and equipment will be your spare equipment.

Additionally, you can change your loadout and switch to a reserve loadout only if you are eliminated during a match.
