The next 14th generation mobile CPUs for laptops based on Intel’s Meteor Lake architecture are here again. This time, we have confirmed the specifications of the HP Specter X360, indicating that it will be equipped with Intel Core Ultra .
This leak comes from X user @momomo_us , who has shared many such hardware leaks in the past. The entire spec sheets of two different HP laptops ( Specter X360 2024 lineup ) have been leaked here. Among them, we will focus more on Intel Core Ultra 14th generation processors.
This is the HP Specter X360, a convertible laptop with an impressive 14-inch OLED (2.8K). According to leaked images, it will also come with a stylus. The spec sheet also mentions other powerful specs such as 16GB LPDDR5x 6400MHz memory, 1TB SSD, and Intel Arc Graphics .
We already know from previous leaks that the Intel Arc graphics will be quite impressive. The new integrated Meteor Lake Arc GPU raises the bar for integrated graphics processing chip speed in upcoming Intel chips. The leaked spec sheet shows that the X360 laptop will be powered by either Intel Core Ultra 5 or Intel Core Ultra 7 processors. Both are high-performance chips that belong to the Ultra class of Intel’s 14th generation CPUs. The first 14th generation to leak is a Meteor Lake-based MSI laptop.
Other features of this laptop include WiFi 7 support , fast charging, fingerprint reader, and quad speakers. HP also mentions the ” AI chip ” as one of the notebook PC’s input device functions. HP (and other laptop manufacturers, too) is looking forward to touting new Meteor Lake-based laptops with ” embedded AI technology ” features.
Intel is introducing NPU chips in its new Meteor Lake CPUs. The NPU is responsible for AI processing on the device . Intel is already talking about plans to integrate innovative AI features into a number of laptops scheduled to launch in 2024. The company has confirmed that it will officially launch them at its AI Everywhere event in mid-December.
The price mentioned here is $1999.99 for the HP Specter X360 with Intel Core Ultra 7 processor. Please note that neither HP nor Intel have confirmed the above information. CPU models, laptop features, performance metrics, and prices are all subject to change prior to actual launch.
