OpenAI GPT: How to create a personalized ChatGPT

One day after the ChatGPT outage, OpenAI finally restored service to the entire system and delivered one of its newest features. As a result, you can now access GPT, which was recently announced at OpenAI DevDay. GPT allows you to create custom versions of ChatGPT that incorporate additional knowledge and functionality such as web browsing and image generation. This is a great way to build and use custom ChatGPT for specific purposes and tasks. So, if you want to learn how to create a personalized GPT, follow the tutorial below.

Note : Access to GPT is available only to ChatGPT Plus subscribers. It costs $20 per month.

1. Go to OpenAI GPT Builder ( visit ) and sign in to your OpenAI account.

2. Then click on the Create GPT option at the top.

3. On the next page you can define your own personalized GPT . For example, I decided to create a physics tutor to help my brother prepare for 12th grade.

4. GPT builder will take some time and create GPT on the fly.

5. On the right side, you can also test GPT by asking questions.

6. Additionally, click Settings at the top and give your GPT a name . You can also edit custom instructions, upload files for additional knowledge, and enable features such as web browsing, Dall -E, and code interpreter.

7. Finally, click Save in the upper right corner to confirm your selection. GPTs can be shared with others via links or kept only by you. Publishing this will allow your personalized GPT to be found in OpenAI’s GPT store.

8. Chat using custom GPT. It can be accessed from the left sidebar .

9. If you wish, you can also share your GPT with others by opening the drop-down menu and copying the link.
