RTX 4080 & 4070 Super Launch details leaked, 4090 mistakenly posted

The Nvidia RTX 40 Super graphics card is coming soon. Nvidia is expected to release a refreshed RTX 40 Super Series lineup at CES 2024. Now, release details for the RTX 4070 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4080 Super graphics cards have been leaked. Important details have been revealed that reveal when each of these GPUs will be available, as well as product reviews and unboxings for the RTX 40 Super graphics cards.

The latest leak is via Videocardz , and the source of the leak has not been made public. This is reportedly an official communication sent to various media organizations regarding the launch of the new Nvidia RTX 40 Super graphics card.

As stated in the leak, all RTX 40 Super GPU product announcements will take place on January 8, 2023 . You can see that the time is 9:00 AM (PST). After the announcement, Nvidia will slightly change the dates when these new graphics cards will hit the market . Below are the exact release dates for the RTX 4070 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4080 Super listed in the leak.

VideoCardz also says that other models are planned, but they are not shown as part of this leak. Reportedly, Nvidia may also be planning to launch RTX 4090D (China exclusive) and RTX 3060 (6GB VRAM) GPUs. All in all, January 2024 is an exciting time for Nvidia, with multiple RTX 40 Super graphics cards on the way.

These “super” GPUs are expected to offer slightly better performance. However, we will have to wait and see how much Nvidia improves the performance of these new GPUs compared to the non-Super versions. Apart from performance upgrades, Nvidia is also expected to increase the VRAM capacity of the aforementioned RTX Super GPUs that will be launched at CES 2024.

RTX 4090 Super accidentally leaked; never actually coming

Things have taken a turn for the worse, with a new leak centered around a European retailer showing multiple RTX 4090 Super graphics cards listed. The listing has since been removed. As reported by Videocardz , a product list of 24 different RTX 4090 Super graphics cards was posted on the website.

Perhaps this was actually a mistake on the retailer’s part. According to previous leaks, the RTX 4090 Super is not Nvidia’s upcoming GPU. The RTX 4080 Super can be expected to lag behind the RTX 4090 in terms of performance. But the giant’s 24GB of GDDR6 VRAM probably won’t be included.
