Realme Pad launches in India on September 9th

Realme is working on expanding its product line in India by entering new product categories. Last month saw the company enter the Indian laptop market with the launch of Realme Book Slim. Well, the company today confirmed that it will launch its first tablet in India, Realme Pad, alongside Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i.

Realme has teased the Realme Pad many times in the past and has finally confirmed that it will launch the tablet in India on September 9th. The Chinese giant shared a tweet announcing the release date. You can check it out just below.

In addition to this tweet, Realme also launched a microsite for the upcoming product on its official website. So, before we go to the expected price of Realme Pad, let’s take a look at the rumored specifications and features of the tablet.

Realme Pad: Main specifications and features (rumors)

Realme has set up a microsite for the Realme Pad, but not much has been revealed about the device. The microsite only boasts of the Realme Pad’s ultra-thin design and the fact that it measures just 6.9 mm thick.

Turning to the display, the tablet is expected to feature a 10.4-inch AMOLED panel with support for 90Hz refresh rate . The resolution will be 2400 x 1080p and the pixel density will be 253ppi.

Under the hood, the Realme Pad is rumored to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset with an integrated Mali G52 MC2 GPU. It will likely be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Also, as rumored, storage can be expanded up to 512GB.

As for the camera, there is no official information, but there are rumors that the Realme Pad will be equipped with a single 8MP camera on the back. On the front, there is another 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

Rumors also suggest that the next Realme tablet will come with a 7,100mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging . Additionally, the device is expected to come with 4G support, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, and GPS capabilities.

Price and availability

Now, about the price of Realme Pad, the Chinese giant has not provided any information regarding it yet. However, it has been confirmed that it will be sold on Flipkart once it launches in India on September 9 at 12:30 pm.
