Redmi 10C with Snapdragon 680 and 50MP camera launched

Although Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 11 series in India, it is still focusing on the budget-oriented Redmi 10 series. The company recently announced the launch date of Redmi 10 in India. Following this, Xiaomi launched another version of Redmi 10, Redmi 10C in Nigeria. This smartphone is equipped with Snapdragon 680 chipset, 50MP camera, and more.

Redmi 10C: specifications and features

The Redmi 10C is the successor to the Redmi 9C and comes with a square rear camera hump with a square camera arrangement and a fingerprint sensor. The front features a waterdrop notch display. We can only assume that this will be similar to the Redmi 10 that is scheduled to launch in India on March 17th and will be the rebranded Redmi 10C.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor . The front camera is 5MP. Redmi 10C features a large 6.71-inch HD+ LCD display with thin bezels on three sides, but the bottom bezel is quite thick.

The rEDI 10c is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC, just like the Redmi Note 11 in India . It comes with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Internal storage can be expanded via memory card.

The Redmi 10C gets its fuel from a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging via the USB-C port, which is very slow for 2022. It runs MIUI 13 but is based on Android 11. This new Redmi phone comes in black color. Available in blue and green colors.

Price and availability

Xiaomi’s latest low-cost Redmi 10C comes in two RAM+storage configurations and is priced as follows:

• 4GB+64GB: 78,000 Naira (approximately 14,000 Rupees)
• 4GB+128GB: 87,000 Naira (approximately 15,000 Rupees)

The new smartphone will be available for purchase in Nigeria. At this point, it is unclear whether the company will expand into other markets.
