Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018): What's in the box?

Samsung recently launched the all-new Galaxy A7 (2018) in India, adding to the company’s lineup of premium mid-range devices. The price of the smartphone starts from 1 million yen. 23,990, the smartphone comes with the company’s first triple rear camera setup and comes with some great software features. We finally got our hands on this device. Here’s what’s inside the new Galaxy A7 box.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018): What’s in the box?

The new Samsung Galaxy A7 comes in a not-so-special white box that Samsung uses for most (if not all) of its non-flagship smartphones. What we received was a black version of the device in a standard white box with the A7 triple camera emblazoned in bold on the front. The top right corner of the front of the box shows the triple camera module, while the device details are on the back.

The box contains the following items:

• 5V/1.55A charging brick
• USB Type-A to microUSB cable
• earphones
• SIM removal tool
• Administrative procedures

Other than the flimsy earphones included in the box, the packaging contents are more or less pretty standard compared to other mid-range devices. Although it doesn’t support fast charging, it does have a charging brick, a USB Type-A to microUSB cable, a SIM ejector tool, and all the “nice” documentation. Since the back is glass, Samsung didn’t include a case, even though it would have been possible to include one. This is a growing trend among smartphone manufacturers these days.

I tried the included earphones and they weren’t anything special. Most buyers will likely already have a favorite pair to go with their new device, but they’re a good fallback option if your primary earbuds fail.
