Smart Launcher has been significantly redesigned with a modern UI and enhanced customization

If you’ve ever used Smart Launcher, you know that it’s one of the simplest and lightest custom launchers available for Android. The platform has been around for over five years, but today it has undergone a major redesign to make it more modern. It looks completely different, and in addition to new additions, there are also notable revamped features.

New features in Smart Launcher 5

In this latest version of the app, the developers focused on giving users easy access to all UI elements. This means that the app displays important items that it regularly interacts with at the bottom of the screen , and uses the top area to display information through visual content and widgets.

• Material style UI

Now you can deliver a more uplifting and consistent experience with the all-new visual language of acrylic design. The UI now has a more Samsung-like look, with the launcher’s color scheme matching the wallpaper. Adaptive icons are also supported for backward compatibility with devices running Android 4.0 and above .

• Search and app drawer

As you can see, taking a cue from Google Pixel Launcher, Smart Launcher has moved the search bar to the bottom and integrated it to work with all other apps. Redesigned to be more convenient and convenient for daily use. The app drawer, on the other hand, appears with a simple swipe to the left . The app will still be categorized, but you can disable it from settings.

The Smart Launcher preferences window has been redesigned to look like the Samsung Experience UI. It adds a ton of new features, including the ability to share screenshots and create backup images of your home screen settings. The developer team has also integrated plugins to better handle notifications and support for freeform widgets that can be resized without a grid .
