Fitness apps are nothing new, and you’ve probably seen many of them on your smartphone’s app store. Well, I’ve personally tried many tools over various periods of time, but very few have kept me interested in the long term and I’ve ended up uninstalling them sooner than I would have liked.
I recently discovered a unique fitness and nutrition app called 8fit that is available for both iOS and Android devices. My first impression was great so I decided to give it a try. So far, I’m having a lot of fun using it. props to
developer. They were successful in motivating Mets to continue using the app every day.
If you care about your fitness routine and want to maintain a healthy diet, there is no doubt that it will become very important once you start using 8fit.
Before you hit the download button, let us explain all the great features that the 8fit app has to offer.
Main features
workout program
8fit offers a variety of different workout programs for different skill levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. When you first go to the workout section, 8fit will ask you questions about your activity, stamina, and strength, and categorize them into skill brackets.
The app was smart enough to rank me at level 6/8 after testing and assigned me a personalized “premier” workout program. This will result in you being responsible for 6 workout sessions in 6 days. Once you set up your exercise program, your overall progress will be displayed at the top of the workout section of the app.
8fit stands out from other competitors by offering high-intensity interval training workouts, plus 6 in-depth yoga videos . . The developers are currently working hard to add more core, arm, and leg workouts.

personalized diet plan
In the diet section of the app, 8fit will help you create a diet plan tailored to you. You can also choose foods that you normally eat and exclude foods that you may be allergic to. The app also lets you decide what type of recipe you want. For example, if you’re a busy person, you may want to prepare meals as soon as possible. Well, 8fit’s quick recipes can help. Additionally, the app can also suggest wallet-friendly foods if you select the “Affordable Recipes” option. This is impressive to say the least. There are many other recipes you can try on 8fit, but “fast” and “affordable” are my favorite options.

The 8fit app is also very clever in that it distributes your total daily calorie needs according to the number of meals you eat per day . 8fit also understands that some people get tired of eating the same meals on a regular basis, while others like to prepare their meals. The app can add variations to your meal plan based on those preferences.
Track your activity
Worried that not all of your activities are tracked throughout the day? No problem with 8fit. You can enter and record various physical activities you perform outside of the app, such as your lunch break walk or yoga class . I don’t use apps while weight training at the gym, so this is very helpful.
In addition to entering your workouts, you can also add meals and snacks eaten outside of your personalized 8fit meal plan, so the app can better track your calorie intake. Finally, if you can enter your weight regularly, the 8fit app will give you a neat graph of your progress over time.
Overall, 8fit can make a huge difference by keeping the app informed of your activity throughout the day.

Step tracking and Apple HealthKit integration
This part might be my favorite feature of the 8fit app. Apple’s HealthKit platform for iOS has been available for several years, and this integration allows the 8fit app to report your weight and calories burned during your workout to Apple’s HealthKit app . Another benefit of this integration is step tracking. This allows 8fit to import data recorded by your smartphone’s motion sensor and display the number of steps you take throughout the day within the app.

User interface
The moment you open the app for the first time, you’ll notice 8fit’s flawless user interface. Spend the first few minutes scrolling through the neatly separated sections, then check out all the other features.
What’s even better is when you realize that the app is already optimized to take advantage of iPhone X’s full screen display. It felt as if I was using a first-party app, as I didn’t experience any lag or crashes during my time using it. Optimized for the new OnePlus 5T display as well. The developers deserve a lot of credit.
Of all the fitness apps I’ve tried so far, the 8fit app is right up there at the top in terms of offering an attractive user interface .

Price and availability
The 8fit app is free to download on both iOS and Android platforms, but it has limited out-of-the-box features. To take advantage of all the features that 8fit has to offer, you need to subscribe to the Pro plan. The cost is $25 for 3 months or $60 for a year . However, if you want to try out the Pro plan before shelling out your hard-earned money, you can do that. The app requires you to invite friends, and if at least three friends join 8fit, you’ll get a free month of the Pro plan. If you have three friends nearby like I do, it takes less than a few minutes.

Strong Points:
- Perfect user interface and well optimized
- Detailed video of training session
- Step tracking and Apple HealthKit integration
- Fitness guide, exercise library, recipe book
Cons:
- pro plan is expensive
8fit is one of the fitness apps you need in 2018
If you have multiple fitness and health companion apps on your smartphone, there’s a good chance that trying 8fit will uninstall almost all of them. It’s enough to be the only app you need to live a healthy lifestyle. From workout and activity tracking to recipes and meal plans, the 8fit app offers a compelling set of features to keep you engaged. Personally, I don’t think I’ll stop using this app anytime soon.
