But the most interesting thing about CS2 is the new drop-based weekly reward system . Counter-Strike 2’s new drop system is called “Weekly Care Packages.” This drop mechanism resets once a week. In this guide, we will discuss this new weekly care package, also known as weekly rewards in Counter-Strike 2. What are Weekly Care Packages in Counter-Strike 2?

Weekly Care Packages are a new Counter-Strike 2 game reward system. This benefit is only available to CS2 Prime members. Valve is well known for its random drops in games like CS: GO and Dota 2. Previously, these drops allowed someone to get a large amount of rewards, but for some, nothing remains in the inventory for days.

CS2’s Weekly Care Package screen displays four randomized in-game skins and rewards (see details below). You have the chance to win two guaranteed rewards each week instead of random drops after matches.

In Counter-Strike 2, you can earn two active boosts each week in the form of experience boosts and weekly drops. During these active boosts, you can earn additional XP by playing games. Once you reach the next XP rank, you will receive a weekly care package.

Counter-Strike 2 Weekly Care Packages are updated every Tuesday at 8:00 PM CT (or 6:00 PM PT). According to this, the next CS2 Weekly Care Package reset is scheduled to occur on January 2, 2024 at 8:00 PM CST , which is Wednesday, January 3, at 1:00 AM GMT.

Counter-Strike 2 Weekly Rewards Items

Visit the Store tab in the game to see your weekly rewards. Weekly Care Package rewards include everything from knife and gun skins to graffiti spray and more across all rarities. However, the most important part of this weekly reward system is the mandatory case drop. Valve hasn’t confirmed that the CS2 case is mandatory, but I’ve received cases in both weekly care packages so far.

For example, in the first week we received the Recoil Case, Nova (Sand Gun), Shield Graffiti (Eco, Shark White), and Shield Graffiti (Cocky, SWAT Blue). The second week we received the Revolution case, P90 (sand spray), Tec-9 (groundwater), and Chess King Graffiti in CS2. Also note that these rewards vary from player to player. You never know that your weekly care package might contain two doodles or cases.

How to claim weekly care package benefits in CS2

Claiming Weekly Care Package rewards in Counter-Strike 2 is easy, but we’ll explain the process in detail here. Follow the steps below:

1. Make sure you haven’t received this week’s rewards yet. You can check it by going to the Store tab.
2. Once you reach the next XP level on your account, a “Weekly Care Package” pop-up will appear immediately after the game.
3. Alternatively, if you missed the pop-up screen, go to the Store tab and you’ll see your weekly rewards there.

4. In the pop-up or store rewards screen, select the reward you want to claim and click the green ” Claim Rewards ” button. That’s it; enjoy new skins and doodle drops.
