Xiaomi seems to be a company on the rise as they are rapidly introducing new products. While the company is still riding on the success of its Mi 8 series and Mi Band 3, both of which have surpassed 1 million units sold in less than three weeks, the Chinese giant has announced new accessories for the current model and Mi Band 3. We are doing our best to expand. Future flagship.
Xiaomi is developing a new Qi wireless charger…it has just been certified by WPC. No further clues, but this could be from Mi Mix 3 (???) https://t.co/s3QVxy2MjN pic.twitter.com/IwZFycMovq

As discovered by Roland Quandt , the Wireless Power Consortium has just certified the company’s wireless charger . This comes after Xiaomi earlier announced a 99 yuan (Rs 1,000) wireless charger in white color alongside the Mi Mix 2S.
According to the certification details, the upcoming Mi wireless charger is said to feature an “A11 transmitter design”. If the detailed specifications are to be believed, the wireless charger could support up to 15W and come with a software-based solution that offers maximum design freedom . Additionally, standby power is probably the lowest of all formats.

Currently, only the company’s premium product Mi Mix 2S supports wireless charging. Despite launching the Mi 8 series a few weeks ago, none of those devices support wireless standards. So, as Quandt himself pointed out, a new wireless charger could be made not only for the Mix 2S but also the Mix 3, and could be released in the coming months. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that the next Mi Max 3 will also be equipped with wireless charging, and the aforementioned wireless charger may also be released at the same time.
At this time, the product’s release date and price are not yet known , and it is also unclear whether the product will be released in markets outside of China.
