A few weeks after it was first spotted in the wild, YouTube Music’s new personalized playlist set has finally been rolled out to some users. These include chill mixes , energy mixes , focus mixes , and workout mixes . All new playlists are algorithmically generated based on your viewing habits and are updated every Monday. They were first discovered by Redditor u/Iordbrack , who first reported on the Chill Mix playlist in 2019.

Interestingly, these new playlists don’t seem to automatically appear in most people’s accounts. However, it works for most users if added to the library through a specific link. If you’re a YouTube Music subscriber, you can add new playlists to your library using the link above. If you still don’t have access to your account, you can always check the screenshot above.

The new playlist comes nearly a year after the service added three other playlists called Discover Mix, New Release Mix, and Your Mix. These were reportedly visible to some users throughout most of 2019. However, it wasn’t until the end of the year that Google officially announced them. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for the four new playlists to be available to all users worldwide.

YouTube Music is rolling out a series of changes ahead of the planned retirement of Google Play Music. A recent update to the app added the ability to transfer content from Google Play Music to YouTube Music. Previous updates also added a new library organization system that makes it easier to find specific artists and tracks.
